  Brooks & District Museum
The museum is organized to be a “Walk Through The Ages”. Our extensive collection includes exhibits portryaing the life of early ranchers, the war years, the N.W.M.P., the Canadian Pacific Railroad, and the Eastern Irrigation District. The museum also houses displays recognizing the early ranching community including John Ware, the black cowboy; the oil industry; and the Sutherland Colony.

Owned and operated by the Silver Sage Agricultural Society.

  Bassano Homecoming Camground
The Homecoming Camp Ground located on main street is complete with power, washroom and shower facilities. Camping is enhanced by the large shade trees and the nearby Kinsmen Park. A great spot to stop in while visiting Bassano. Camping cost per night is $10 or $15 with power. The Campground operates on a first come first served basis.

This tree-lined park is a welcome relief on blistering hot prairie days; many well-treed sites provide privacy. An interpretive trail provides visitors with the opportunity to view the area's abundant bird species. Kinbrook is an excellent location from which to base day trips to Dinosaur Provincial Park, which is only 45 minutes away by car.
